The company is now run by Colin Edge in the same tradition. He has worked in all aspects of the company for more than twenty years, with a particular interest in design and process development. The company used to get involved in a huge range of design based projects but now only etches sheet metals for the sign industry & associated trades. The whole company has been designed to do this job well, high quality products produced quickly & efficiently to keep costs & lead times to a minimum. Multitechnic
Limited was established in 1972 by Dr James Edge, a chemist with
a long history in research and development of chemical processes.
From humble beginnings in his garden shed the company now occupies
a purpose built site in rural Northumberland incorporating design,
development and manufacturing. Research is still an important part
of the company's approach to manufacturing, and enables many innovative
and unique services to be offered.
